Acting is a combination of knowledge and experience. If you are just getting started or have recently experienced the thrill of performing we
can help gain both.
Acting I
An exploration of Acting Techniques with a concentration on the "Acting Method" by Constantin Stanislavsky. Ryszard Bolesławski, Michael Chekhov, Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner, and Uta Hagen all trace their pedigrees to Stanislavsky. We will also be exploring the "Respect For Acting" by Uta Hagen. Lots of improvisations and concentration work.
Acting II
Acting for the Actor; the actors will practice different forms of memorization techniques, creating a charcter and bringing it to life. We will concentrate on realizing a production from start to finish. A play will be choosen by the actors in conjunction with the Director and Instructor to be realized at the end of the workshop.

Stage Combat and Fighting Techniques
Learn the beauty of sword fighting and stage combat techniques. Creat exciting and safe fights for stage and film. We offer extensive training for actors who want to add proficiency with weapons and unarmed combat to their skill set.
